I want to grow our class library in order to give my students more opportunity to explore literature and increase their imaginations. By adding a variety of favorite authors and new stories my students will be able to explore and find a book to love and enjoy. I'm looking forward to introducing them to new authors and new characters to increase their love for reading. Having a variety of books in our classroom library gives students the opportunity to experience many different genres and explore. For example Elephant and Piggie books will show my students that reading can be fun and exciting. Their easy to read format encourages and motivates all readers.
