Funded Jan 17, 2023You helped me provide the students' little, furry, best friends a spacious and comfortable new home. We've been hearing lots of happy squeaks from our guinea pig girls! We could not be more grateful for your generosity!
Class pets teach so many life skills to your little ones, and not everyone is able to have a class pet, so thank you for making it as easy as possible!! The amount of times I have heard students talking about how much they love them, or about how proud of themselves they were to complete the classroom jobs is truly remarkable. Thanks again!!!”

Ms. Marsh
S-Teal My Heart
Funded Sep 21, 2022Thanks to you my students finally have a true COZY corner in the classroom. They yelled and danced with excitement when they walked in and saw the gorgeous and soft rug.
My students now love reading by themselves or in partners together. It also helps the kids who have difficulty regulating their emotions have a safe space to try and calm down. I added many fidget toys, stuffed animals, bean bags, notebooks, etc. to really bring our cozy corner to the next level.
I can't emphasize enough how helpful your donations were and always are!
Thank you again, it truly means the world to my students and me!”

Funded Mar 20, 2021Sorry for the delay due to Covid, but our class has benefitted incredibly much for your generous donations of Science Viewers and the Fort Builders.
Normally, we are able to take field trips and go outside, but given the pandemic, giving our students life experiences are extra limited, so the science viewers have been extremely helpful in being able to show students what insects, plants, animals, and habitats they aren't normally able to see. This is helpful for not only our science lessons, but also when learning to write Nonfiction books about flora and fauna.
Normally, students are able to go outside and play, interact, and learn to cooperate during recess. Given the pandemic, the students are not allowed to play on the playground. These students have been pent up at home with not a lot of social experiences with peers or abilities to play an use their gross motor skills. With the fort builder, it is large enough to provide space between students, while giving them that opportunity to communicate and work on projects, and feel the pride of accomplishment together.
Thank you again for giving these experiences to my students. We could not have done it without you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Marsh
Let's Get "Center"ed
Funded Mar 16, 2021Your donations to get my class sets of interactive cards have been no less than magical. The students literally think that the way these cards work is MAGIC, which is very exciting, leading to increased engagement.
The students are able to learn their letters and sounds, digraphs, blends, numbers and math concepts/strategies, etc. in a peaceful, modern, and child-friendly way.
Being able to complete these tasks by themselves helps instill the independence and confidence they need to truly be successful life-long learners. Thanks again!!!”

Funded Dec 22, 2016When I opened up the Donor's Choose box and showed my students all your wonderful donations, they shrieked and danced with excitement. They were so thankful that people that do not even know them, cared about them enough to contribute to buying such wonderful "gifts," as they rightfully called them.
The name tags will be perfect for our upcoming field trip to the Fire Station! On our walk through the neighborhood and when we are there, we will be able to explore our community, learn about community helpers, and discover the different roles and services they provide!
My students are absolutely loving the Letter Launching Games and Snap Blocks too! Since my students are very diverse, they have diverse learning needs. Some students use the games to practice their beginning letter sounds, while others are still learning what the letters are and use the game to match. These games are making learning fun, especially for my bilingual students who usually have to put double the effort in to learn two languages at once! The kids were engaged through all of center time and celebrated their own and their friends' success! Once my students have mastered their letters and sounds, they will become super readers—able to use those letters to sound out even the trickiest words!
The students are also enjoying the art dotters not only for Art, but also for making any subject more colorful. We've made graphs, played letter and number and identification games, science bingo, and much more! On St. Patrick's Day, a little leprechaun walked all over my classroom and made a big, green mess! Let's just say, the art dotters may or may not have helped bring some of that holiday magic into the classroom too!
Our next step? As one of my students suggested... "Maybe, we can use them to decorate 'Thank You' cards!" And so, we will!
Thanks again SO much for your generosity!”

Ms. Marsh
