Playing is Learning in Kindergarten
Funded Nov 11, 2023It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am writing this impact letter. The project, Playing is Learning in Kindergarten, has helped our students a great deal within the classroom. At the beginning of the school year, our school was faced with a challenge of not having an adequate supply of learning materials for our kindergarteners. They did not have any items to help with their exploratory learning. This was very tough for our diverse learners.
Once the project was funded and we received all of our materials, all of the materials were labeled and placed in the kindergarten classroom. By having the supplies (toys), this created a situation where we had many rotations throughout the classroom during our guided small group time to meet the needs of all of our students. We were finally able to meet the needs of all our students and foster their imaginations and developmental learning.
Again, we would like to thank you for your donation. By having the Playing is Learning in Kindergarten, we are better able to serve our students.”
With gratitude,
Ms. West
Headphones for Success
Funded Jul 17, 2023It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am writing this impact letter. The project, Headphones for Success, has helped our students a great deal within the classroom. At the beginning of the school year, our school was faced with a challenge of not having an adequate supply of headphones for our students. By having the headphones delivered prior to the school year starting, we were able to successfully complete all beginning of the year testing.
Once the project was funded and we received our headphones, all headphones were labeled with students' names and homeroom teacher. When I began distributing the headphones, the teachers and students were happy to receive them. The students felt a sense of ownership and appreciation. The students were no longer sharing headphones and the testing was completed within the timeframe. This was only possible due to each student having their own headphones.
Again, we would like to thank you for your donation. By having the Headphones for Success project funded, we are better able to serve our students with their current technology in the classroom. Your donations have helped to make learning with our adaptive software programs more accessible and testing more efficient.”
With gratitude,
Ms. West
Essentials for Testing Accommodations
Funded Aug 2, 2023It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am writing this impact letter. The project, Essentials for Testing Accommodations, has helped our students a great deal within the classroom. At the beginning of the school year, our school was faced with a challenge of not having an adequate supply of headphones for our students. This created a situation where we had to rotate headphones, some students were without headphones, and iReady testing was lasting longer than the expected timeframe.
Once the project was funded and we received our headphones and calculators. All headphones were labeled with students' names and homeroom teacher. When I began distributing the headphones, the teachers and students were happy to receive them. The students felt a sense of ownership and appreciation. This time, everything worked smoothly. The students were no longer sharing headphones and the testing was completed within the initial timeframe. This was only possible due to each student having their own headphones.
Again, we would like to thank you for your donation. By having the Essentials for Testing Accommodations project funded, we are better able to serve our students with their current technology in the classroom. Your donations have helped to make learning with our adaptive software programs more accessible and testing more efficient.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 2 other donors. To Math, Reading and Beyond...
Funded Mar 27, 2018It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter for you and your kindness and willingness to give to my project, To Math, Reading, and Beyond. With the laptops, mice, and printer that have been donated, we have been able to work on our phonics and reading comprehension skills. It has been a positive influence having my students being able to access technology daily throughout the school year.
Having access to a computer has had a positive impact on my students. They have been able to reinforce skills taught within literature lessons and in small group instruction with their use of the laptops. They are also able to use the printer to print their accomplishments.
Again, thank you for your donation. My students were so excited when the laptops were set up and they were able to use them once set up. They are excited and want to get on the laptops whenever they can. We thank you so much for the donation and your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Ms. West
