Funded Dec 4, 2024Thank you for funding this project to impact the mental health of students in our school community! Your generosity provided an opportunity for our student mental health ambassadors to design and deliver several info sessions titled: Journaling for Mental Health.
Students were introduced to the six dimensions of wellness, discussing the role that psychological wellbeing plays in our overall wellness. As a coping strategy students were led through different styles of journaling such as; daily, letter, and gratitude journaling. To close this session students were provided time to start journaling.
We hope that all students who received this information are now better equipped to manage emotions, reduce anxiety, and reflect on themselves as they go through the days and weeks ahead.”
