I have served in the United States Navy for 7 years and while I loved every moment and wouldn't change one minute of it. I always had a passion for teaching. And I left the life that I was familiar with to step out on faith and become a teacher. I love my students as if I gave birth to them myself. My students need the printer and ink so they can start to experience typing and printing as technology is a critical part of our everyday lives. My students already have two disadvantages against them. One is that they are living in a low income/high poverty area and two them having special needs. I do not want them to be behind on something that will be a critical part of them being successful contributors to society. I am that teacher that will push them to do their best and not someone else's. I want them to come to school and have all the tools that will help them be even more wonderful than they already are.
