  • Let's Go, Adventure Is Calling!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I apologize for just now sending this impact letter. A lot has been going on.

Nevertheless, I wanted you to know that your donations are being well used on a daily basis in my classroom. Of course, we use pencils and erasers regularly to take notes, work in math books and workbooks, and solve math problems throughout our lessons. The dry erase markers are used with dry erase boards that the students use to solve problems to share with the class and with me so that I can search for errors or misconceptions and accuracy. They really enjoy using this method to show their work.

The children are very excited and grateful to have these wonderful supplies available and right at their fingertips ready for use.

Thank you again so much for your donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Teacher Young

  • Hunger Be Gone

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thank you so much for the wonderful snacks that you provided this year. The children enjoyed them so much. There have been many days that children have told me that they were hungry. Thankfully the snacks were there to help make a difference in their day. Having something to curb hunger pangs has given them a more positive attitude toward learning and being taught. It gives them the boost that they need to keep going forward. And it gives me great satisfaction knowing that people like you care enough to reach out and help. Thank you again.”

  • No Work! No Play!

    Funded Jan 1, 2023

Many thanks to you for the games that you have provided for my scholars. They were very excited when the packages arrived. Our school motto is No Work. No play. They have been working hard all year to reach their daily, weekly, term, and end of year goals. Now the fun really begins. Uno and Jenga are by far their favorites. I love to hear the sounds of children laughing and interacting with each other. You have made this possible and for that I am grateful and happy. Thank you for all you have done to support my classroom this school year”

  • Thirst Quencher

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

Thank you so much for the water that you have provided. Water is a vital necessity in the daily lives of my scholars. And we are fortunate to have the clean water that you helped fund.

Throughout the day scholars are given opportunities to have water breaks, which helps boost their energy levels and hydrates their bodies.

Having fresh clean water on hand has made a huge difference. It has taken away the worries and concerns about our situation with the water crisis in Jackson, MS.

We thank you for your generosity.”

  • Let's Win

    Funded Dec 25, 2022

The resources that you have provided are being used to motivate and reward my scholars. When scholars perform well on weekly assessments and assignments they are given stickers or candy, and sometimes both. The ribbons are used to celebrate scholars who meet accelerated reading goals and honor roll every nine weeks.

They get excited about receiving the delicious candy treats, colorful stickers, and ribbons. It helps boost their efforts which has led to higher achievements in math and reading. This makes all of us happy! Thank you!”

  • Math Tools

    Funded Nov 6, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity. Teaching math has been made so much easier and fun with the materials that you have provided.

We use them everyday for whole group discussions, class starters, comprehension checks, weekly assessments, quizzes and more.

The children were thrilled when I opened the packages and revealed to them that the class supplies were donated by kind people such as yourself.

We will continue our work efforts to learn and show growth. These materials certainly are helping that. Thank you again.”

  • Coding Fun

    Funded Oct 25, 2022

Thanks again for your generosity! My students love, love, love the new Dash and Botley robots. "Coding Fun" is certainly living up to it's name. They were so excited when I opened up the packages and introduced them to our newest classmate friends, Dash and the Botley crew.

We use the robots primarily for coding on "Fun Fridays", which gives them an incentive to work diligently throughout the week.

Each team is given a robot and creates actions for them to perform. This gives them so many opportunities to be creative, interact, and collaborate with their peers. Thank you for making this possible.”

  • Harmless H2O

    Funded Oct 4, 2022

Having a water crisis has not been easy. But you have made it bearable. You have given me and my students hope. We realize now, that there are people who really care. Your acts of kindness prove it every day when my students take a drink of the clean, refreshing water that you have provided.

My students are amazed every day at the plentiful bottles of water that now fill our classroom and we are thankful. Each day is a day that they are able to stay hydrated without any worries about contaminated or harmful water. That is a very BIG deal. And you made it happen. Thanks so much.”

I cannot thank you enough for the packages of snacks and goodies that you have provided for my awesome 4th graders. Everyday is so much better for them knowing that they will have a healthy snack to munch on and enjoy before lunch. And even as a special treat in the afternoon before dismissal time.

They love, love having a classroom full of snacks. Snack time is the highlight of the day. The smiles on their faces says it all. And the words of thankfulness and gratitude are abundant.

I want you to know that your generosity is so appreciated. Thanks again.”

  • Clean H2O On the Go!

    Funded Sep 18, 2022

Oh my goodness!! I cannot adequately describe to you how my students and fellow co-workers felt when we all saw the numerous packages of water arrive at our school. The children really got a kick out of bringing them to our classroom. And when I told them that they were donated to us because of your generosity, they were even more overcome with joy.

Having fresh, clean water provided has greatly impacted my students overall well-being. They don't have to worry about having quality water to help them stay hydrated throughout the day and especially, after recess.

The headphones will be used with Chromebooks, Nooks, and the computers in our classroom. Students will develop their skills with MobyMax Lessons which offers a plethora of subjects such as Math, Reading Skills, Science, Social Studies, and Phonics skills, just to name a few. Headphones are absolutely necessary because each subject has tutorials and interactive lessons. Students will work independently on these lessons and receive immediate feedback after each lesson. I will be able to monitor their progress and reward them for their efforts and successes. Visual and audio is a great combination for reading comprehension. It especially helps assist my struggling readers. Reading books and taking quizzes is the name of the game to advance in reading literacy. Students will read Accelerated Reader books online and take quizzes. These 3rd graders can't help but win with this incredible resource!
