Let Them Hear
Funded Sep 7, 2017Thank you very much for providing my students with headphones for this school year and many more years to follow. I have noticed a major improvement in my student's learning this year. For the first time, they can listen and watch videos without being distracted by their peers. They can get lost in their learning because they aren't focused on things around them. As an educator, I am excited to watch my students get lost in their learning and take it seriously. We are able to have engaging conversations about what they are learning and how it can be applied to our society today. Sometimes it's hard to connect the past to the present, especially when there's so much happening in their world.
Thank you again for your support! It truly means the world to myself, my students, and my future students!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mullinax
Tools for Success
Funded Jun 27, 2017Thank you so much for believing in my students and I! I know that we will have an incredible year thanks to your support. It always amazes me how much outside support we get. It also makes my heart happy knowing that you believe that I am making a difference in my student's lives.
Thank you again!”

Give Them a Chance
Funded Oct 6, 2016My students and I have greatly benefited from the resources! We have used the binder to organize class materials. The pencil sharpener has been incredible because it's quick and quiet! The extra paper has been especially useful as well.
My students were exciting to know that strangers cared enough about them to donate their hard earned money to support their education. They take care of the materials that were given to them with pride. It also has taught them that people around the country believe in them and their abilities to do amazing things when they have the proper materials. It has also modeled for them what it looks like to be prepared to learn.
For the future, we are continuing to demonstrate how to care for materials so they last a long time. My students tend to ruin their materials quickly because they do not know how to take care of their belongings. I think this is important because it shows them how to take pride in their belongings, their education, and their surroundings.
On behalf of my students, we greatly appreciate the support you have shown us by contributing to our classroom. It is exciting to see that people all over the country cares about us and wants us to have a great education.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mullinax
