The books were indeed an impact on my students. They have been reading for entertainment which is unusual for them. They hated reading. Thanks to my donor they can now read more books at school with the hope I can send them home with one book each. Maybe in the future, I can have another donor donate to a classroom library. Also, students get to complete their Technology lessons in reading and math on the chrome book especially when we are out of lab tops. Thank you again for the essentials to help support the classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Anonymous Supporter and one other donor.

The books will help them read more while closing the gap to achievement. It will build self-esteem and give them a sense of motivation to explore places in books. Students will read daily in class and at home. I will set up a check out system so students can take the books home to read. They will be required to keep a running record of all the books they read. This will allow both the teacher, students, and parents to be accountable. My classroom library will be a great place for them to begin their journey to become better readers.
