  • Promoting Early Childhood Literacy

    I want to thank you so much for funding my Early Childhood Literacy project on Donors Choose. Even though the school year just began, the resources that your funding provided have already proved to be invaluable during my daily routine. My new instructional easel is exactly what my students need for shared reading, shared writing, and group discussions. The writing center has my students excited and invested in their progress as early readers and writers. I use the Letter of the Day pocket chart every day as we go over different letters and letter sounds. The alphabet puzzle is a favorite of my students; they love to sit in the table games center and complete the puzzle while singing the alphabet.

    I cannot thank you enough for the impact that you have made in my classroom. It it due to the generosity of individuals like you that student achievement is possible. ”

  • Kindergarteners Becoming Mad Scientists!

    I am so grateful for the generous contributions and support our classroom has received for this grant! My kindergarten class is so excited about science, and with these learning materials we will have several units worth of activities to work with.
