  • Seeing in Color

    Thank you so much for your generous donations! Having a color printer has made it easier to make colorful labels and photographs for my students! With the new color printer, I can print pictures and labels on demand . This especially helps my English Language Learners as they greatly benefit from labels that help them build their vocabulary skills. In the photographs you will see our "Recycle Center." Students learned about the importance of recycling and were able to sort recycled materials, use bottle caps as stamps, match caps to numbers, and make Pro Recycling signs . These labels helped my students with playing in and with cleaning up the center, along with teaching them vital vocabulary!”

    Thank you so much for your generosity! My students now have clean rug to play and learn on. The oval shape allows everyone to fit comfortably on the rug during our meeting times and provides a place to play with blocks and build structures using all kinds of buildings. You really have made a difference in the quality of classroom life in our classroom. Words cannot express how grateful I am that there are generous and giving people in the world that care about children they way I do.   • Traveling Zoo

    Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing my students to experience The Traveling Zoo. I wish you could have seen their faces! We really enjoyed meeting all the animals and learning about how they use their 5 senses like we do! We learned how a snake uses his skin to breathe, and how they hear. We learned about tortoises and how they have a great sense of hearing, and a beak to catch food. We learned about a gecko and how it's tail can detach if in danger! My students really benefited from this hands on experience and we are eternally thankful for your thoughtfulness!”

Our Pre-K Classroom is a place of learning, love, fun, and exploration. Our young learners are learning about the world around them by studying monthly themes and topics., such as the 5 senses, transportation, all about me, babies and life cycles, and light and water. We believe that children learn based when activities are hands on and related to their personal and real life experiences. We also believe that our classroom is a place where resources should be readily available to allow learning to occur to its fullest potential. As a new school, resources are often limited, preventing this goal from being reached. We strive to create an environment where everyone is respected, valued, and deserving of the best experience prekindergarten possible. Our young learners are also part of the larger school and neighborhood community. We are striving to create citizens that are kind, eager, respectful, and responsible!
