The calculators you have provided to my students will be extremely vital in the computational components of the AP Biology class, where students must use a calculator to answer questions. With the addition of these calculators, there are no technological barriers that my students face thanks to your support! My students cannot afford to purchase their own calculators and this donors choose project means a lot to them. This will help them practice math related problems and will be more prepared for the AP Biology exam. Thank you!!”

  Thank you so much for your incredible and generous support providing materials for our hard working students in need! With your donation, my students are able to showcase their learning through designing scientific images and proclaiming their understanding of scientific processes in their classrooms to their peers. One such example was students designing posters based on biotechnology, where students took the roles of instructors, and taught their peers why their topic was important. Your supplies allowed my students to take ownership of their education and encourage collaboration with their peers to become leaders.”

• Dry Erase Boards Needed!

  Thank you so much for giving my students additional resources that they can utilize within the science classroom. These dry erase boards will be a fun addition to learning science, and it will serve as a powerful assessment tool for me to check to see if students correctly answer a question without having to read over every individual response written in their notebooks.

  This quick and informative strategy will improve student achievement and will create a more engaging classroom setting. I am hopeful that this engaging learning tool will increase class participation and students will be more likely to engage with others peers. Thank you!!”

• Students Need Printer

  Thank you very much for your donations towards my Printer and Ink Donors Choose Project. My classroom and students can now take advantage of having instant access to printing, any point in the school year. The printers at the High School are frequently jammed and need to be replaced, so your efforts have allowed our Biology class to continue to support student learning through engaging classwork and projects.

  Technology is a very important tool in learning, especially within today's modern science curriculum. Students now are required to be knowledgeable on many different aspects of science with much vocabulary, so handouts with visuals and sentence starters are effective towards student learning.

  This new product is exciting for students because they will not have to tediously copy words on my PowerPoint slides onto their notebooks, but can rather receive guided notes and study guides in a much more efficient manner. Thanks to you, my classroom is up to dat with the 21st century technology we deserve! We sincerely thank you for your donation.”
