Exploring and Creating for Powerful Brains
Funded Nov 17, 2021I am so grateful for these wonderful gifts! These very generous gifts made our lives much easier and added extra support to our students' learning.
My students are very curious and eager to explore and learn. Their eyes fly open when they explore their curiosities.
The environmental science initiative STEMS is introducing my students to the career of science, and math. It is a way of expanding their brains, making observations, and being good decision-makers.
The technology piece is helping my students to access many educational apps as well as websites such as Khan Academy, inquiry projects, and to improve their literacy skills.
The PPT gifts are being used every day in the classroom and now they feel clean and free of germs during this Pandemic.
Some people make choices that change lives. Thank you for being one of them. Your donation will help change the lives of my students today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Once again, many thanks for your willingness to donate and play a part in the life of my pre- k children.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Adames

Funded Nov 15, 2021On behalf of my Pre-k students at PS 130- Abram-Steven Hewitt Elementary School in the Bronx, Ms. Teron, and myself, Victoria Adames, would like to thank you for your generous donation for our project, "Educating Students in a Safe Learning Environment."
Your contribution helped to create valuable improvements in my student's lives in the following ways:
1. To expand the use of technology in the classroom.
2. By providing us with enough PPL equipment which is vital during these crucial times of the pandemic. Now, our students and parents feel more confident and safe.
3. Introducing our young students to the world of inquiry and science with the Transformative Property of Water kit.
Also, I would like to tell you that these tools have sparked new and fun ways of learning, developing knowledge, and building inquiry skills in the safe and clean environment that they deserve.

Funded Nov 2, 2021On behalf of my Pre-k students at PS 130- Abram-Steven Hewitt Elementary School in the Bronx, Ms. Teron and myself, Victoria Adames, would like to thank you for your generous donation for our project, "Pre-K Students are the Financial Leaders of the Future."
Your contribution helped create valuable improvements in my students' lives such as recognizing numbers, expanding vocabulary skills, helping build the basic practice of financial knowledge, identifying money value, forming a habit of saving money from an early age as they move on to different grades. The math hands-on tools such as ATM Bank, calendars, puzzles, visuals, and other tactile manipulatives, are and have been fundamental in their growth during this preschool year. These materials are being used either as stand-alone tools, or resources to teach financial concepts. Also, these tools have sparked new and fun ways to learn, develop knowledge, build gross motor skills, aid in decision making, and socialization amongst my students.
