I am requesting funding to attend 2020s SXSW Edu, one of the country's most innovative space for leaders and educators to share their transformative research, and groundbreaking ideas. Teaching the same subject and grade level for a number of years can become routine, but I constantly try to update my teaching to reflect contemporary research and cultural changes. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to bounce ideas off colleagues who are not as equally motivated to keep their curriculum updated, which is why I would be overjoyed to have an opportunity to interact with thousands of like-minded people at this major conference.
