  We did it again! Another project funded! Every year I am filled with immense gratitude and joy because of everyone who helps support my classroom. My students will have everything they need this school year because of your generosity. I am always super transparent with my students about where the items come from, and I make sure they appreciate the supplies that keep our classroom organized, stocked, and comfortable. I look around my classroom and see that is it decorated with activities my students have made over the years with the supplies you've helped provide. You are here with us everyday!”

• Necessities for Room 211!

  Every project you help fund creates a whole semester of learning experiences and growth for our students. You help them feel safe, prepared, cared for, and we are forever grateful. People are still shocked that I have to supply my classroom with necessities like deodorant and feminine products, and not a week goes by where these items don't help a student. Being a teacher is much more than sharing my love of English with my students. Some of you have supported me over multiple years and never hesitate to donate when I post another project. We couldn't do it without you!”

  Here I write in 2023 and I cannot believe it--it's been almost 3 years since my last project!

  I have been so lucky and fortunate that your lovely donations have kept my classroom afloat for so long. We have been able to make these supplies go such a long way and created such amazing projects over the years.

  My students see my room as place where they can express themselves creatively and find their voice. Thank you so much for letting them have the resources to do this.

• Back to School Supplies for Ms. Lopez's Class

  This year has been so rewarding and so challenging at the same time. I am teaching tenth grade for the first time and there have been a lot of new experiences to face this year. Thank you so much for your continued support and making my school year a little easier by keeping my classroom stocked with all the essentials. My 9th and 10th graders have benefited so much from your donations, and it has helped create a bright and loving learning environment. My students constantly feel comfortable and safe in my classroom, and that has a lot to do with the cleaning supplies you provided me with. I would be sincerely lost without you!

• Help Update Our Classroom Library!

  My students are used to books that are falling apart, outdated, and at times sharing copies when there isn't a class set. You have given me the chance to teach TWO new novels this year and introduce my students to an entire new genre of literature. My students were thrilled to see brand new books come out of the box, and they bragged about being the first ones who get to use them.

  Diversity is really important for me, and I want my students to feel connected to the texts they read and learn to love literature by reading things they can actually relate to. Thank you so much for giving me the resources to engage my students and motivate them to become life-long readers and learners.

• Help Us Succeed in Room 103!

  Funded Aug 24, 2017

  We just finished our first quarter of the year and my students have finally settled in. Personalized notebooks, binders, and folders fill my bookshelf, thanks to your donations, and my students are protective and proud of their supplies. I am so glad that I was able to provide supplies for all 100 of my students, and still have some left over for students who may transfer in mid-year. I could not have done this without you!

  The inference cards are an almost daily resource in my reading class, and it is an easy way to "trick" students into learning by disguising it as a game. The document slips also allow reuse of paper which has helped my classroom stay green! The resources designed to assist me have also helped me organize student work, student data, and lesson plans. I have been able to differentiate and provide different levels of learning for all of my students.

  My next unit involves Greek mythology and the hero's journey and the students will continue building their interactive notebooks and binders. I have received many compliments from my colleagues, seeing the organization of our supplies and classroom, and I would not have been able to achieve this without your tremendous support! The students feel excited to come to class and enjoy the environment you have helped me create. Thank you for helping make this year successful!”

  Thank you so much for all of your donations and well wishes! As a first year teacher, I was very nervous about starting the school year off without enough supplies for all of my students. Without your help, my students would not get the educational tools they deserve, and I hope to be able to get them so much more throughout the year (with the help of donor's choose!). You have helped get the year off to a great start, and I hope all of you are having a blessed fall just like us!
