I would like to thank you for allowing my students to have a successful school year despite it being COVID. We were all learning and teaching remotely. It was a challenge at first to keep my students engaged during that school year. Although my school used BRAINPOP in tha past, and despite numerous attempts, I'd asked my principal for assistance in obtaining it for our students again, she would never respond. It was at that time I knew I had to take matters into my own hands and provide the necessary resources for my students.

There were so many activities and resources on BRAINPOP, including friendly cartoon videos where it would teach students the same math and reading curriculum that I was teaching.

My students particulary loved the videos that they could create on their own using Tim & Moby avatars. It should me how creative they can be.

    Thank you once again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Johnson

Welcome!!! I am the Save Room teacher/Dean at PS 315. I work with grades PreK-5. I am a strong believer of social/emotional learning, which should be taught in our curriculum but it isn't. My students need to become aware of their feelings and learn how to relate more peacefully to others. If my students had that type of curriculum built into their daily instructional schedule I think in 10 years the world will be a better, safer place.
