My students need these supplies to harvest the crops we will be growing in our school garden, as we learn about healthy eating and leading healthier lives. We also need PE equipment to help keep our bodies fit and strong, as funding for PE equipment is a challenge at our school. The students plan is to use the school garden to plant, grow, harvest, and enjoy eating healthy recipes that will help inspire making healthy food choices. My students have been learning about the importance of being active and leading healthy lives, and so with the included PE equipment, they will also add to their healthy life-choices by being active and staying fit, all while learning and having fun!
