• Celebrating Black Culture

  Thank you so much for giving to this project. The kids at my school ABSOLUTELY loved these books! I unboxed the new books with a 5th grade class and they were so excited about each and every one of the titles and the books started getting checked out as soon as they hit the library shelves.

  The students at my school love seeing books with Black Characters and about Black Americans because they can relate more. The more they relate, the more they want to read so thank you for helping me build a reading culture with my students.

  These books will be checked out and enjoyed by students for years to come! Thanks again for making a true impact in our school library community!”

• Ending Boredom With Board Games

  Thank you so much for giving to this project!

  As soon as the board games were delivered, we opened them up and started playing. The social skills that comes with playing board games is so essential to these kids. It has also helped stock the indoor recess options for rainy days, keeping our students off of technology based games, which increases communication, skill building, and life ready skills.

  We will continue to use these board games for years to come! Thanks again for helping to build our collection. Our students appreciate these games so much!”

• We Are in a Book

By giving to this project, you have allowed me to update this well loved collection. The students noticed and were so excited to have brand new books to check out!

• Creation Stations

  Each morning we have Makerspace time, where students take turns coming to the library to build, create, and collaborate with each other. By giving to this project students have had fun and engaging supplies to work with and have very much enjoyed coming to the library!

• We Love Creepy Books!

  Thank you so much for giving to this project! The students have my school have loved having additional copies of their favorite "Creepy" books in the school library. This series stays checked out and now more students than ever before can enjoy the stories.

  My favorite part of my job is matching students with books they are excited about reading, and thanks to your donation, more students get to check out their favorite books that they love.

• Learning through Literacy
