Hands-on Learning for Kindergarteners!
Funded Oct 25, 2019Thank you greatly for supporting hands-on learning in my kindergarten classroom! We are appreciative of the materials and supplies you have donated to our classroom! My students love using the materials, and each item has promoted learning and excitement in every student!
My students absolutely love the alphabet construction puzzles! They love to make each alphabet letter using the line puzzles. They know which letters have curved lines and which letters have straight lines. We use these puzzles daily in our reading centers and choice time. These letter puzzles have helped my students learn and retain the names and sounds of each alphabet letter through a fun, hands-on approach. The puppets and puppet stage was a huge hit in my classroom too! I have many students learning English, so the puppets provide them with a safe, comfortable way to speak and communicate with classmates. My students have put on many fun puppet shows, and are delighted to use these materials every day!
My students were excited and delighted to use the magnet learning kit! It tied in greatly with our science unit. Students learned about magnets through play in a center with this kit. They use it every day at choice time too! It has become a classroom favorite with my students! We greatly appreciated the jumbo magnify glass. We found all sorts of objects to look at with the magnify glass including flowers, leaves, rocks, and much more. Lastly, the paint trays came in handy for us. We have limited space so we needed the trays to put our artwork on to dry!
Thank you so much for supporting learning! My students and I are extremely thankful!”

Building Scientists!
Funded Nov 1, 2017My students and I are so very grateful for all of your support! We are delighted to have the STEM building blocks and science kits.
My students are excited to use the materials and even asked to use them for inside recess opportunities. We have built bridges, buildings, and even designed cars! My students love the hands-on engineer skills they are learning through these amazing materials. We use our blocks as learning centers and for activities for early finishers in class. The students get so excited to build and design and collaborate together.
My students are seeing science in a whole new way. They love looking at fossils and artifacts of different animals in the science kits. They have learned so much and are still excited to use the kits to learn all about animals. The kits fit in nicely with our animal life cycle unit.
You have brought so much joy into our classroom and have made learning fun, engaging, rigorous, and adventurous. I wish I could bring you in the classroom so that you could see my first graders' eyes light up with happiness when using all of these materials!
We can not thank you enough for supporting science and education!”

Math Games Need For Classroom Centers!
Funded Oct 14, 2016Thank you greatly for your help and dedication to my students and their learning! My students have loved playing our math file folder games! We use them daily in a math center. My students have become more fluent in counting and skip-counting through the number games. Also, it has made learning addition and subtraction more fun. The students enjoy playing together to help each other learn. The shape games were a big hit too! The students were thrilled to match shapes and find them hidden in pictures. These games have taught and reinforced many first grade math skills! It has also helped me as a teacher in planning and setting up a learning. The set up is fast, easy and very convenient! Also, our classroom tablet has been a hit! The students love using it to play all sorts of educational games. I have used it to provide extra help to students in relearning skills (such as identifying letters and sounds). The tablet is also used to aid in positive reinforcement with behavior through the Classroom Dojo app. The students love to reward themselves points for their Dojo monsters! My students and I are greatly appreciative of your kindness and generosity! Thank you so much for supporting us!”
