• Random Reads

  Thank you once again for your generosity. Because of your donations to this project my students are able to have well stocked classroom library.

  Students are expected to read independently every day. I would hear moans and groans that books were either too hard or not interesting enough. With the help of you, I no longer hear those things. Students are engaged in their reading and now have plenty of choice when it comes to their independent reading time.

• Celebrating Hispanic Heritage!

  Thank you once again for your generosity. Because of your donations to this project my students are able to read stories about Hispanic Americans during National Hispanic American Heritage Month.

  We have read a book a day in the month of October, and we have learned so much as a class. They made connections to the struggles of other cultures, as well as learning about those who stood up for their beliefs and fought those who wanted to see them fail.

  Being able to share these stories with my students has been a game changer in my classroom.”

• Organized and Ready to Learn!

  Thank you once again for your generosity. Because of your donations to this project my students have a well-organized classroom.

  Being able to provide classroom necessities like pencils and expo markers is a huge help. Having snacks available to my students is also a big help. My students are given breakfast and lunch at school, but some don't have access to food at home. Sending them home with snacks has made a big difference.

  Having organization cubes has also been a hige help. I teach three classes, with 20+ students in each, students are now more organzied than ever. They know wehre their books and materials are for class and we no longer waste time looking for them.
