Students in my class need dictionaries in order to be successful in building and expanding their vocabulary. These resources are needed in order to complete assignments, homework and inquiry projects. This is important because students must understand multiple meanings for words in order to be successful throughout their academic and professional career. Understanding how to locate and use the meanings of words will reflect upon their speech and ability to effectively communicate. Students are constantly asking how to spell, pronounce and use/meanings of multiple words. With our limited technology and resources, students are at a 5:1 ratio with having the opportunity to research.

About my class
