I have numerous fiction and nonfiction books on the topics of Math and Science in my classroom. Students that struggle with Math and Science concepts can use their strength of reading to help them understand various Math and Science topics. My struggling readers can benefit from reading about topics they enjoy. By creating a reading corner with a lamp and bean bag seating- the stage will be set for all of my students to become comfortable, engaged STEM learners through reading. High-energy learners will be able to better focus on classroom activities using the exercise ball chairs. Often students who struggle with focus issues perform better in the classroom if they have a means to release their energy. These chairs could be the very thing some students need to go from failure in the classroom to success!
