Sustainability will be threaded throughout the science content for the entire year. Giving students concrete ways to experience the beauty of sustainability, such as gardening, will be very empowering for their eager minds. Additionally, we will be creating new relationships with organizations that aim to teach students farm to table food experiences, and thus building a community of people who love and respect the Earth and all it has to offer. By donating to this project, you will enhance learning opportunities by interweaving food growing and cooking with science and sustainability. Students will get to witness their seeds undergo the processes that create and maintain life, and ultimately, taste the fruits of their labor.

About my class
