Students with dyslexia need a multisensory approach when learning to overcome the challenges they face in reading. Boogie Boards provide a motivating, visual-tactile experience when learning to connect sounds to symbols through spelling. They will be used in activities such as alphabetic principle, cursive letter formation, sound/symbol connections, and phonetic coding and decoding. Besides their many educational benefits, Boogie Boards add student engagement to any lesson. Boogie Boards provide better tactile feedback when writing to encourage the development of fine motor skills. Plus, they save on paper and ink, and can be used year after year. Boogie Boards can be used in any grade, with any level of reader.
