Open a World of Wonder and Discovery
Funded Aug 25, 2022Thank you so much for fostering my students curiosity. The STEM activities have provided my class with the opportunity to develop their communication skills while building and creating with their peers. As they have explored and invented new ideas, they have failed as well. I believe this is the most beneficial experience of all. Students have realized that failure is essential to learning; trial and error is how we grow. They also have been wonderful when supporting one another to modify and adjust their ideas! I am so impressed with their growth. We would not have made such strides as quickly as we have without your donations. Thank you again!”

Funded Jun 30, 2022Thank you so much for your donations. Building SEL (social and emotional learning) skills requires face-to-face interactions, meaningful discussion, and reflection. With you're generous contributions, I have been able to provide the tools needed to support the development of character in the classroom and at home.
We have established a culture in our classroom in which opportunities are created within the school day to support students in developing positive behaviors and mindsets such as goal-setting, showing empathy, cultivating relationships, making responsible choices, and managing their nervous systems.
Thank you again for your donations!”

Funded Mar 13, 2022Thank you for sending organizational tools to our classroom. This year our district adopted a new phonics curriculum in which there are many pieces. We have used zipper pouches for the magnetic letter boards, white boards and workbooks. Students can now easily access their materials when needed, store them safely when not in use all while keeping their manipulatives clean and organized. I have used the 3 Tier cart to organize my teaching phonics materials. I have used the project cases and photo case to create and organize new math centers for my students.
This donation helped students take accountability for their learning tools as well as their learning. We discussed responsibility and respect as we organized all our new manipulatives. The students were so excited!
This year, I would like to continue working on my organization. My plan is to update my ELA and Math centers. By doing this, students will be able to access learning material easier in an organized manner. This will help build independence and confidence as students learn to take responsibility over their own learning and success.”

Funded Aug 1, 2017Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom! The students love the alternative seating option. We are currently utilizing our alternative seating during our reading rotations. There are five centers that the students rotate through throughout the week. Each station offers different seating options. Station 2, we use the stools and station 4, we use the balance balls. The other stations utilizes clip boards, lap desks and regular chairs. Students are free to use the alternative seating during independent work as well.
When the boxes arrived, I waited until my class was present before I opened them. The kids were so excited and shocked that someone cared about their learning so much that they bought our classroom new seats! I reminded them they were our future and their learning is important to many people, even people they don't know. They just couldn't believe it!
I am currently looking into more seating options. This year my class grew to 32 students, which was far than I expected when I originally set up my project. While we LOVED having options, only few could utilize at a time and rotated often. My dream is to have an option for every student. Each time they wiggle in their seat the movement awakens their bodies and minds for new learning.
Thank you so much for caring about my students! I cannot tell you how grateful we are.”
