Fine Motor Development in Pre-K
Funded May 8, 2024I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to my project, "Fine Motor Development in Pre-K." Your support is making a significant difference in the lives of my young learners.
With your contribution, I have been able to enhance our classroom environment with new resources and activities specifically designed to support fine motor skills. These tools and materials are already proving to be incredibly valuable in helping our Pre-K students develop essential hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and overall motor skills that will benefit them throughout their educational journey.
The enthusiasm and joy in my classroom are palpable as children engage with the new activities, and it's all thanks to your kindness. Your donation not only provides immediate benefits but also sets a strong foundation for their future learning and development.
I am incredibly grateful for your support and commitment to our students' growth. It is the generosity of donors like you that enables me to offer enriching and effective educational experiences.
Once again, thank you for your invaluable contribution. I look forward to sharing more updates on the progress and successes of my "Fine Motor Development in Pre-K" project. Your support has made a lasting impact, and I am deeply appreciative.”
With gratitude,

Funded Nov 15, 2023Thank you so much for helping me realize my goal of establishing purposeful play centers in my Pre-K classroom! Students are absolutely loving our new, colorful, comfortable flexible seating cushions in our class library, and our library center has been full to capacity of students enjoying exploring various texts.
We have been using our dot markers to practice sight words and letter formation. Each student has the opportunity to create using these every single week, and it has been a popular addition to our literacy centers.
Our classroom has never been more colorful now that we have such vibrant paints in our art center! Students love to share their creations with their friends in school and to take them home to show their loved ones.
I will be introducing our veterinarian dramatic play material next month when we learn about community helpers, and I know students are going to love practicing saving animals! Students are learning so much through play, and will love school for the rest of their school careers.”

Learn to Love Reading With a Leveled Library
Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you so much for supporting a love of literacy in our first grade classroom! Books were leveled by difficulty and content for students to borrow and enjoy at their leisure. Many students kept books in their desks to peruse during free time, and several even kept a reading journal to track their progress and enjoyment of different levels and genres. My ultimate goal was for students to develop a love of reading for pleasure, and our leveled library helped me achieve that goal for my first grade scholars! We even shared the love with others in the school, hosting weekly "Reading Buddy" Fridays, where third grade students would read a book from our library out loud to our students to model fluency and foster conversations. I was so happy to provide such a horizon broadening environment for students thanks to your support.”

Funded Aug 21, 2016Dear Donors,
I cannot thank you enough for the generous contributions you made that allowed our classroom to enjoy a portable air conditioning unit. You enabled me to fulfill my request so quickly that we installed the air conditioner by the second week of school, providing us with much needed relief during the last few weeks of a historically hot summer.
With a more comfortable learning environment, students were able to focus entirely on adjusting to the classroom, making friends, and mastering the procedures that would set the foundation for a successful school year. It is vitally important for students to feel safe and supported in school, and if they are distracted by physical discomfort, they are unable to fully engage in learning. This air conditioning unit will continue to help our classroom in the winter months, as it works as a fan and dehumidifier as well.
Your donation has impacted all of my students, and will continue to benefit future classes for years to come. My school is not slated for renovation, which will hopefully include central air, until 2020. The air conditioning unit will positively affect the lives of over 100 kindergarten students living in poverty in the coming years.”
