  • Creating a Healthy and Creative Learning Environment for the Future

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you so much for the very much needed supplies for my library students. As a librarian, I service approximately 700 students a month. Students having their very own personal folders, pencils, and notebook paper has helped them to complete all library assignments and keep those assignments in the library in a container labeled with their homeroom section. Having their own personal folder gives them an opportunity to complete and review any assignments as needed during their library class time. We appreciate you for donating to make this possible for ALL of us. Once again, thanks for funding our project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams

Thank you so much for the resources you helped to purchase for my students. The Kleenex has come in handy since the weather has slightly changed over the last couple of days. We are most definitely using it help with our sniffles. We will continue to be thankful and grateful for what you have done to help us this year. Donors like you help to make it easier to achieve and accomplish such simple tasks. You are such wonderful people. As the season continues to change, the students will forever remember that you helped us to stay safe and healthy! Thanks again!”

  • Staying Safe while Learning

    Funded Nov 5, 2021

Thank you so much for funding the project "Staying Safe While Learning." These materials are helping to keep students safe while learning during an unprecedented time in our world. Students are excited to know that they will always be able to keep their hands clean while learning at school.

Students were very pleased with the hand soap and sanitizer. It's amazing to see that they are using the sanitizer before selecting a library book from one of the shelves. Students will continue to utilize the products throughout the remainder of the school year. Thanks again for helping to fund this wonderful project.”

  • The Impact of Literacy Using Technology!

    Funded Mar 26, 2021

Thank you so much for funding my project entitled "The Impact of Literacy Using Technology." We are back in the building after working virtually from home during the pandemic. I am been able to utilize NearPod which is a technology based program that allows students interact with the lesson and keep them engaged. It also allows students

to take real time assessments and provide immediate feedback. Students are allowed to joined the lesson using their devices with a generated code provided by me. I am currently using Nearpod with my students in the library. Thanks again for helping me to make virtual and in-person learning fun, engaging, and exciting for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Williams

The nonfiction books will be utilized in my independent library center. Students will be able to select nonfiction text and read independently during library time. Those books will remain in the independent library center for all classes to utilize during their library time. Some examples include: Encyclopedia of Space, Endangered Animals, and The Magic School Inside Earth. Students are so grateful that they have the opportunity to read for pleasure and not just for an assigned task. These books will give them so much exposure to nonfiction text that is fun and engaging. Students will love to read in the independent reading center.
