These books will provide my students with access to current literature. This is my first year teaching back in the United States so my classroom library is currently very limited. Your help will provide students with new books in their classroom library which is always exciting and motivating for students learning to read. When students see the beautiful illustrations it always motivates them to continue practicing their reading, they want to know how the words describe the pictures! These books are not only beautifully illustrated but relate to the wider topic of social justice, which I believe is important to incorporate into my classroom at any age.
