• Hack Attack Juniors for Westhill High School Baseball

  WOW. I'm simply amazed by your generosity. Due to your unbelievable financial commitment to the Westhill Baseball Program we were able to fully fund our project of getting a Hack Attack Jr!! I hope using this machine will enable us to crush 0-0 fastballs and not swing and miss at 0-2 curve balls. In addition, it will be used to lower our error percentage in the infield and reduce dropped fly-balls in the outfield. Especially routine plays!

  Thank you so much again and please come out to see us play in the Spring. I would love to offer you a first Pitch Opportunity - just please no dirt-balls to our Catcher.”

  Once again, we wanted to thank you for your support of Westhill Baseball. Without the support of our friends and family we would not be able to function as a competitive FCIAC Baseball program.

  When our players first saw the Hack Attack Junior arrive it was like Christmas morning...but for 30 players. Throughout this winter our Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors practiced two days a week for 3 hours each day. It's pretty safe to say that the hack attack junior was running during the entire time.

  Ground Balls, Fastballs, Catcher Receiving, First Baseman Picks, Cut-offs, High Velocity training, Curve Ball drills, outfield drop-steps, and the list can go on and on for how we utilize this invaluable piece of equipment.

• Help Make Us the Best Base-Runners in the FCIAC..

  Thank you so much for your contributions to our program last year. It was overwhelming to have so much support from the Westhill Baseball Community.

  Our field is one of the more neglected fields in the county. However, what we lack in field we were able to make up with equipment which we earned from our Donors Choose Project.

  As many of you know, last year we had a historic season returning to the State Championship game for the first time since 2008. Although we fell short (actually one run), we were beyond thrilled to get there. The run for the team was a memorable one. We ignited a whole school and community and gave them something to cheer for in difficult times. There is zero doubt in my mind that a major contributing factor to our success, was the materials earned in our Donors Choose Fundraiser.”

  We can not thank you enough for your generosity and support of the Westhill Vikings Baseball Program. Our players are an incredible group of student athletes, both on and off the field. They work hard on the field and in the classroom. We (the coaches) strive to provide each player with an experience that will leave an impression on them for the rest of their lives; well beyond their time spent on the field.

  Competing in the highly talented FCIAC gets harder and harder each year. To remain competitive a team must spend money to stay current with the most updated training methods and practice/game equipment. As our sports budget continues to get cut, this has become increasingly more difficult year after year. With your support this year, we are confident that the equipment we were able to purchase will be put to excellent use for our entire program.”
