Groups Are Great for Cooperative Learning!

Funded Dec 21, 2016

Thank you for this great new resource that is the main focus point of our classroom. The students had noticed as well as colleagues as they entered the room. It has become a meeting point for all of the students and staff who come into the room.

We use the kidney shaped table for small group instruction, one-on-one instruction, and for grade meetings with colleagues. It has been a place where we can work on strategies and skills in a more intimate environment. It allows the students to feel more comfortable participating and helps them focus more easily in such a setting.

As a class and school we will continue to use this classroom to build on our knowledge of specific skill deficits and common grade projects to further our success in the classroom as students and teachers. It has been a really great resource for everyone and we can't thank you enough.”

With gratitude,

Ms. Koukounas
