  • Successful Seating!

    Funded Feb 26, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation! With your generosity, my students will be able to collaborate more. The new table will immediately be put to use for group seating. Since I am moving to tables, the bins will keep students more organized and keep supplies in one place. Thank you so much, it is much appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Godefroid

  • Let's Get Organized!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you so much for the generous donations to help our classroom become more organized. With your contributions, I was able to put student materials in a more centralized location, which also freed up a lot of space within the classroom. Students can access the materials easier and the organization just makes our day that much smoother. Teaching organizational skills is such an important part of life and when students see organization firsthand, it helps prepare them that much more. Thanks so much!”

  • Fun and Flexible in Fourth!

    Funded May 15, 2024

Thank you so much for the donations to be able to purchase 4 new flexible seating chairs. As soon as I brought them into the room, the students were so excited. We use the chairs numerous times throughout the day-during independent reading time, writing time, and with partners. The seats provide a change of scenery for students, breaking up the monotony of sitting at a desk. It's a quick change up but provides so many rewards.

Thanks again for your generous contribution. These chairs will last many years and will make lots of students happy!”

  • Growing With Starfall!

    Funded Mar 2, 2024

Thank you for the donation for our school wide subscription to Starfall. We were able to service students in grades Kindergarten-5, giving them materials at their individual levels. With Starfall being interactive and online, students were constantly engaged in their learning, and were not self-conscious about working at levels different from their peers. From the time we received Starfall to the end of the year, we saw huge gains across the board. We are looking forward to starting the year with the program and seeing continued success. Thanks again!”

  • Bouncy Bands to Focus Our Brains

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students were so excited to get their own individual bouncy bands for their chairs. The bouncy bands allow them to move their feet and legs, getting their wiggles out, while still staying focused and in their seats. I didn't realize how much the bouncy bands meant to my students until I purchased 3 bands a few years ago and my students this year were fighting for those chairs!

Our new whiteboards are also a huge help in the classroom. Students can now see what they are writing and they aren't writing over cracks in the boards. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

  • Library Loving!

    Funded Aug 7, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My classroom library looks absolutely amazing. With the new bins, the books are more organized, engaging, and inviting to students. Having books readily available to students is half the battle, and through your generosity, my students are truly set up for success for their upcoming fourth grade school year. I also received new "offices," or testing dividers, which students really utilize during assessments. These offices allow students to block out the distractions around them and can focus on the task at hand, so I can't thank you enough for helping me get a new set.

Thanks so much. Donors never truly understand how much of an impact they have, but it SO appreciated and truly game-changing.”

  • Needing New Nonfiction

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations for our new nonfiction books. The books have been added to the library and we now have more engaging and recent topics. As I was unboxing the books, the kids were so excited to see the topics and could barely wait until I put them into the library. We are now doing a nonfiction unit during our reading block, and these books barely stay checked into the classroom library. Before these particular books, my students were not huge nonfiction readers. However, these books have piqued their interest for sure and I am truly grateful. Thank you so much!”

  • Success with Seat Sacks!

    Funded Sep 10, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation for our classroom seat sacks. With the seat sacks, our organizational skills have improved greatly, therefore making our day run much more smoothly. Without having the traditional desk storage, the baskets on our desk often became too heavy and would fall over, causing the supplies to fall over, students to become frustration, and making a disruption in the class. With the seat sacks, our AVID binders-which are our heaviest supply- can stay in our seat sacks until needed, making everything run that much smoother! Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Godefroid

My classroom is made up of 4th grade students who love to read and write. I am always looking for ways to motivate their learning and engagement. I love seeing students get excited when we receive new materials for our classroom. I am hoping my students are becoming life long learners. With donations I receive, I promise to continue to bring engaging and meaningful materials into my classroom. I feel as if I spend a lot of time determining what materials would be the most engaging and worthwhile when planning for my students. I want my students to be able to connect with a book, all while making them a better person, complex thinker, and an all-around problem solver. Thank you for donations that will not only help my kids academically, but also in the real world!
