As the new SDC math teacher, I want to bring my students ample amount of positive reinforcement and encouragement to be the best they can be. My students are currently learning grade level math which can pose lots of difficulty understanding the math concepts being taught. This in turn can create student frustration with the curriculum and ultimately a negative self image of ability. I am hoping to bring a positive teaching approach to my students by starting a whole class positive reinforcement system that praises students for their hard work and perseverance. I have a total of 45 students between 3 class periods and they are all very sweet and admirable young people.
