Having Space in Class Makes Us Feel Safe and Happy!
Funded Jul 29, 2018My students love their new materials. They were so excited when they first saw them and could not wait to use them. They have been using them all year, while using their centers/workstations and love them, because they can pick where they will feel comfortable sitting at. We have been using the sofas and chairs at four different work stations. The library, the listening center, the writing center and gathering table. It is amazing how much the materials have helped the students to become more motivated to be in the class and learn. We love having our chair sacks. These allows us to be more organize ,do transitions faster and save time for learning. We appreciate your help and we thank you for donating to our class project. You have made a great impact on our lives.”

The Gathering Table Rocks...Everyday I Learn More!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thanks to your generosity my students are now able to have seats for their library and their listening center. This makes it easier for them to want to spend time in this centers area. They love their library, because they feel comfortable and that makes is fun for them to want to go and read a book. The listening center is also one of their favorite activities now. They can choose where to sit and what stories to listen to while being comfortable. This little sofas have been of great help to inspire my students to read. They take care of their new seats all the time. Thank you very much for all your support.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and 4 other donors.Harvey Survivors!
Funded Oct 4, 2017The laminator serves us well as a technology tool, because we are now able to laminate many different things that we need for our classroom and we can re-use them as much as possible. The students are now able to use sight words anywhere and at any time, because they do not have to worry about the paper getting wet, ripping off or getting any stains. the laminating machine allow us to laminate photos, vocabulary words, family words, sentence stems, every visual that we use is now protected thanks to it being laminated.
The kids love using these and many other resources every single day of the week. They are always excited for what comes next. Most, if not all my students get very excited when we do any art project, for example for valentine's day, we created a letter that they will give to the person they chose to. Two of my students asked if they could get their letter laminated so it could last forever. we decided that was a great idea. The next project they would like to get laminated is Mother's Day art project for their mothers. We appreciate this donation, because it makes it easier for all of us to use more resources and reuse them at any time.”

Resources Create...Better Learning, More Opportunities and the Greatest Minds.
Funded Oct 2, 2017My students are very happy with our new resources. Now the students can sit comfortably while reading in the library and they are able to listen to our new books in our new listening center, and have loved doing that. They were very happy for the headphones, because now they could listen to the stories anytime with no distractions. They love their new resources and they take care of these resources always.
The tablets allow me to download educational apps that help teach reading, sight words, the alphabet and so much more that help the students by targeting each individual need. The tablets also allow us to log in to educational websites such as ABC mouse, Starfall and Myon. My students can use the tablets during our centers/work station time and at time they also use them when they are done with their work and have a few minutes to spend reading or practicing sight words etc.
When my students first saw our new materials, they were enlightened. They wanted to immediately use them. They were more willing to read while in our library, to listen to stories in the listening center, and they defiantly love learning new sight words, CVC words and so much more while using the tablets. Having such resources had made learning new things much easier for all of us. For our next projects we would love to get more comfortable sitting items and more technology to use in our classroom.”
