Think about a time in your life when you didn't have the basic supplies to finish a job. Baking a cake, but no the butter. Changing a tire, but no jack. Writing down a phone number, but couldn't find a pencil. Well, this happen every day in many low income public school systems. Students want to learn, they want to complete their assignments, but simply do not have the basic materials to do so. The materials I am requesting will help my students complete daily tasks in the classroom and at home and enhance their learning and development.
Teachers often spend over $5000/year supplying classrooms with materials from books, paper, pencils, science experiment supplies, and so much more. My students and parents simply do not have the means to provide much of the needed equipment to ensure a well stocked classroom conducive to effective learning.
Any help you can provide will lead to well educated futures for all.
