Wiggly Kids
Funded Aug 23, 2021Thank you so much for gifting us the ability to help our fidgety students stay more focused able to move around when they are not able to move and walk around the room like they used to. Many of our students find it hard to sit still at their desks all day. the balance cushions and bouncy bands helps the students keep their bodies and legs moving even when they are stuck at their seats. These things have greatly helped our students stay focused and on tasks they are able to complete the work given to them. Without these things so many of our students would find it hard to stay at their seats and stay focused. Thank you again.”

Confetti Classroom
Funded Aug 23, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations. With out your help, I may not have been able to purchase all these wonderful classroom decorations and supplies to organize my classroom. You have helped my students feel comfortable and at ease in a newly decorated classroom. It was such a pleasure to see their excited faces as they looked around the beautiful classroom and eager to pick classroom jobs. Since many of these students haven't been in a classroom since the spring of 2020, coming back in to a decorated classroom plays a really big impact. They felt wanted and cheerful. I can not tell you enough how appreciative I am of all of you.”

A "Graphic" Reading Life
Funded Jun 28, 2021Thank you so much for all your generosity. Your kindness has really helped build my classroom library with new and exciting books for my students to read. With everything going on in the world, it is so nice for them to read and escape reality for a little while.
When I first told my students about the projects I posted over the summer they were excited and eager to get the books. Now that they have arrived, they can't stop asking to go book shopping to get new books.
With so many books at different levels, they can all enjoy the graphic novels and no one feels excluded because of their different reading levels. Sometimes students with lower reading levels can't find books that interest them. With these new books, everyone can find something they want to read.”

Classroom Safety
Funded Apr 28, 2021Thank you so much for all your help in funding this project. All the materials I have already received are being put to good use. My students were so excited to see the fun face masks that I picked out and you helped purchase.
We have also already started using the hand soap and paper towels. We
got them right in time, we were down to the last paper towel.
I cannot even start to express how appreciative I am of how quickly this project got funded and of all the donations we received.
These resources are so important to everyday life in the classroom and we finally have all the things we need to feel safe and keep our classroom clean and sanitized.”

Reading Fun
Funded Apr 19, 2021Thank you so much for all your generous donations to my classes project. Many of the students have already started to read the wonderful books we were able to purchase due to your contribution.
My student all have book baggies which they can fill with a number of books from the classroom library. With the addition of these new books the student are so excited to go book shopping and read new books. One of my students reads faster than I can get books, she has really enjoyed some of the higher level books we got to spruce of the library.
Many of the books in my library are old and out of date. These new books reach so many of today's kids. They are about things that affects kids today and also represent kids from all different ethnicities and backgrounds. this is a really important thing in my class. Children should be able to read books with characters that they can relate to.
Thank you once again for all your help in reaching more students through reading.”

Writing and Math Workshop Necessities
Funded Nov 29, 2016Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was really excited to get all these new items for our classroom. They love being able to each have their own clipboard to use for our math lessons and to use when we go over homework. The pencil sharpener has really helped by making sharpening pencils quick and less messy than a manual sharpener which falls and opens during class.
My students are using these supplies on a daily basis. Each day, multiple times a day, they are gathering at the carpet leaning on the clipboards. They are also using the organization baskets and bins to easily find the materials for writers workshop, such as paper and scissors and glue.
My students are so happy to have their own personal clipboard. Before we received our clipboards, students were arguing over who got a clipboard and who had to lean on something else, it wasted a lot of classroom time. Now each has their own to either keep in their desk or in a basket on the carpet to take when needed. This has allowed my 30 to feel a part of the class and makes them feel more important. They are all eager to take out their clipboards and use for every lesson. They love getting up and taking materials from the baskets or paper trays when we are writing. The drafting paper, editing strips, resource worksheets and publishing paper is always available to them.
These supplies have been an asset to our class and we are deeply appreciative.”
