My goal is to create a positive and welcoming space for students to use in order to collaborate on projects, work with a partner, and think creatively. Having a new table with flexible seating will allow students to utilize a small space in many different ways. Education should mimic the economy of today and tomorrow. In order to better prepare students for a collaborative workforce, I want to encourage teamwork, communication, and problem solving. Various seating options and an additional table will allow students the ability to use an old space in a new way! It will also allow various teachers the opportunity to work with small groups of students in a more flexible setting.
