Financial literacy is defined as understanding how money works in the world from earning it, managing it, investing it, and finally donating it to help others. My students are financially illiterate, but with the books that you are helping to add to my classroom library, they can become literate! I have chosen high-interest and relevant books that will grab their attention. Perhaps they are interested in planning their future careers or making money now. Maybe students want to know how to become financially secure when they are adults. These books will teach them how! It's never too early to learn how to manage all of these important things.
