Having the proper tools and supplies is very important in the classroom. Keeping kids excited about learning is equally important. All of my students were so excited that our first project was funded. I asked them some things they are looking forward to or hoping to learn in class. My students are very excited about the opportunity to make cheesecakes and so I've included new springform pans. Our spatulas and wooden spoons are old, worn, and broken. These additional flours will help our class make a variety of baked goods. Learning to make pizza from scratch was another skill a lot of kids agreed would be fun and beneficial. Teaching kids about different flours and their proper usage is important as well.
