The binders will help keep students organized and prepared to learn American Sign Language and the Deaf community. We will have a "Binder check" every month so that the students are accountable and responsible for their own success in the course. These students are in ASL 2 and very motivated to learn about the Deaf community. We live in Riverside county, very close proximity to the California School for the Deaf. These students want to learn to communicate with the Deaf culture that is right in our own city. I do not want to students feel pressure to ask their parents/guardians for more money for school. I want to help them become successful and that includes helping them find the materials needed for success in the classroom.

About my class
