Students will use data notebooks to set goals and track their progress. Using the 3 ring binders to document their growth will allow them to have all pertinent information in one place. These notebooks will be used to guide student-led conferences with parents and will also be used for RTI conferences. These notebooks will a difference in students' learning because they will have a voice in their own learning and can understand and work toward success in a systemic way. Students are then able to articulate their learning at Student-Led Conferences because they record and understand their own data. Parents will also become more engaged in their children’s education as they hear their children share their goals and academic progress at student-led conferences.
