  • Magical Magnetic Whiteboard!

    Thank you so much for funding our white boards. These boards have made huge difference in the classroom. Not only are they neater, but they are much easier on the students' eyes.

    The students are more willing to volunteer and interact at the board now because they do not have to worry about chalk dust or the allergies to it. They are able to see the board from a distance now because of the bold writing.

    These boards have brought an increase in homework and classwork. The more the students can see, the more they do!

  • Bountiful Book Display

    Thank you so much for supplying us with our bookcases. We are excited to have the new additions in our room. They have already begun making book selections much easier.

    The students are now able to find books at their fingertips rather than in a closet. They are much more interested in choosing books since they are more accessible. The students have shown increased interests in reading. They want to take multiple books at once. These bookcases made this possible.

I have 3 classes of diverse learners on many different reading levels. The students come from low-income homes. Unfortunately, within my school, and the area, the majority of the students qualify for the state's free or reduced meal program. Due to the budget cuts schools are facing, teachers in my school are no longer able to personally give each student the resources they desire. Supplying my students with these materials would be a small step but it would give my students one less obstacle to overcome on their own.

About my class
