  • Learning And Loving Literature!

    Funded Nov 3, 2014

My students and I were so excited to receive this package! The students I work with this year have a true love for learning. They look forward to reading literature that is exciting and entertaining. With this new novel, I'm sure my class will build even more excitement for reading.

We will be incorporating this novel into a common core unit and aligning lessons accordingly. We hope to focus on the major skills needed to succeed.

The students are just as excited as I am to begin this new novel soon.

Thank you so much for your generosity and sharing in our love for literature!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • September Setup Support

    Funded Oct 17, 2014

Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting this project. My students and I are extremely thankful. We are now able to maintain neat binders by punching holes in worksheets. The students were very excited about the new pencil sharpener. They are now able to write essays and notes with a nice sharp point.

Our amazing bright colored post-its have allowed us to stop and jot while reading. The students are able to check their comprehension as they read by writing questions or comments about what they've read. The colors make each note easily identifiable.

Important worksheets or information sheets will be copied on the colored paper to make it easier to find for the students.

All of the items you have funded have already made a big impact on our classroom and our learning.

    Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Pupils Need Paper to Learn

    Funded Dec 18, 2013

Terribly sorry for the delay!!! Thank you so much for your generous donations to my proposal. As you know, paper is essential in a classroom. Without paper students are denied the necessary worksheets and printables. They would not have anchor charts to use as a reference tool throughout the school year.

Your donations have made it possible for my students to have the tools that are essential to learning. My students have grown tremendously over the course of this school year. They have been using loose leaf to compose Common Core related essays. They have completed many essential worksheets and have made use of great resources because of your help.

Your thoughtfulness and generosity are greatly appreciated by my students, and myself.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Knowledge Blooms From Earbuds

    Funded Jul 28, 2013

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and generosity. These ear buds have given my students the opportunity to enhance their learning. Many of my students are auditory learners who benefit from hearing texts being read aloud to them. We are now able to use audio books in the classroom to ensure all students fully understand and comprehend explicit texts. We can also use special computer programs in addition to class novels. These programs build skills and knowledge base for all students. The ear buds allow each student to work at their own pace, while not becoming distracted from the sounds of peers' computers. We are very grateful for your donation to this project.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Back to School Basics

    Funded Jun 29, 2013

Thank you all for your kindness and support of my classroom projects. This project has allowed us to the school year off without a hitch. My students are organized and able to keep all their materials in order in their binders. The classroom environment is much more inviting with its colorful charts and signs. These basic materials have given my students and their families relief from having to dip into their very limited funds in order to ensure the children are prepared for school each day.

My students will continue to use these materials each day to help build their skills. My students are now eager to enter the classroom and begin lessons. There is never a question of where things belong because their binders are organized and divided into sections for each unit of study.

Thank you again for your support. You have each touched many lives and minds with your donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Cool School Classroom

    Funded Jun 12, 2013

Thank you so much for donating to this project. These fans are sure to keep my students and I cool during the warm months. We are in an older building which is unable to support air conditioners. The warmer months bring on warmer temperatures. The classroom environment completely changes under these conditions. The fans will not only cool the classroom, but the minds of the students as well.

I am confident that with these fans, my students will be able to remain more focused on their studies. They will be less likely to lose focus because the room won't be unbearable anymore. You have helped may people with your kindness. Your support is greatly appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • It's Our Turn To Learn

    Funded Dec 31, 2012

Thank you so much for your generous donation. You have touched the lives of many struggling students. Because of you, my classroom now has more resources to help current and future students succeed in learning.

With our new chart stand we are able to better view anchor and unit charts. They are easily displayed and accessible. The students know exactly where to look now when they need to reference something they learned in past lessons.

Our bins have created a much more organized classroom. My students can now easily keep track of class and homeroom paperwork. The students are able to independently collect missing work and notices.

Your donation has made a huge impact on my classroom and my students. Our classroom is much neater and more organized now. The chart stand and bins were a vital part of improving our classroom environment.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Back to School Basics

    Funded Sep 6, 2012

    Dear Michael M.,

Thank you so much for your sincere generosity. Your donation has made a huge impact on my students and classroom. We were all very excited to receive the new school supplies.

The students are looking forward to creating new projects and using these supplies to do so. My students love to draw and are eager to use the new markers, crayons, and colored pencils to do so. It was great to see their faces when they saw all the bright new colors they would be able to use.

We are looking forward to putting these great items to good use throughout the school year. Our classroom will be a bright, colorful and inviting place for all.

    Thank you again.”

  • Baskets of Books Build Brains

    Funded Dec 30, 2011

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. My students and I are so excited to have so many great new books and a fun organized way of keeping them. The students love reading the new books. May of them are much into sports and love reading about the topic. The students have found a new love for reading because of these books. They are genuinely excited for independent reading time because they are able to read books they are interested in. Many of the books in our classroom were outdated and caused the students to shy away from wanting to read. These new selections have re-energized the class and brought back the flame they once had for reading. The bins are a great resource for the classroom as well. They help us keep our books neat and organized. They sort out the books by levels and genre. The bins brighten the classroom with their bright and vibrant colors.

Thank you again for your generosity, we truly appreciate it. ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

  • Wonderous Whiteboard

    Funded Dec 4, 2010

Thank you so much for funding our classroom white boards. The board makes a great addition to our classroom. The ease of use is perfect for the special education population in the room. It also allows them to see the writing much easier with the versatility of markers. We are able to use different colors that are bright and bold to record material. The students find it much easier to see the material with the markers.

The students long to come up and write on the board now. They are much more involved in the class lessons. There is a great increase in classroom participation with these boards. They have been, and will continue to be, a huge benefit to all students in the classroom.

Thank you again for your generous donation. ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mazun

I have 3 classes of diverse learners on many different reading levels. The students come from low-income homes. Unfortunately, within my school, and the area, the majority of the students qualify for the state's free or reduced meal program. Due to the budget cuts schools are facing, teachers in my school are no longer able to personally give each student the resources they desire. Supplying my students with these materials would be a small step but it would give my students one less obstacle to overcome on their own.
