  • 4th Grade Basics!

    Thank you for your generous gift to our classroom! We are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation, I was able to implement Words Their Way which is a great word study program. The pencils and glue sticks you provided were essential for students to complete their hands-on word sorts. My students also loved using the dry erase markers. There is something about letting kids write on their desks with an Expo Dry Erase Marker that gets them super excited about any lesson.

    I'm humbled and honored to have the supplies necessary to make this a year for my students to remember and hopefully leave them with the feeling that maybe school can be a fun and rewarding place to be. You truly make the difference for us, and we are extremely grateful!”

  • Need Books and Seating for our Classroom Library!

    I cannot begin to express the joy that you have given to my classroom. Both of my classes were so excited to receive new books and beanbag chairs. The books have aroused my student's curiosity and inspired them to read more than ever. Our classroom library is now filled with literature that is available at their fingertips. My students also love the big beanbag chairs you have provided. These chairs serve as comfortable seating, so students can enjoy their independent reading time.     This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.
The pocket charts will help my students greatly as I will use them to post their weekly spelling and vocabulary words in front on the class. My class is also in need of privacy partition to prohibit distractions during their weekly assessments. The space-saving paper center will provide an area where student's work can be organized by their name. At the end of each week all graded papers for each student is sent home so parents can review. This paper center will make the process of getting these graded papers to parents more efficiently. Organization is one of the components to keep my students on the right track to success. I have also requested little beanbag seats because our school requires each student to participate in D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) for a minimum of 30 minutes every single day. I like to provide various spaces around my classroom so students can read comfortably. The beanbag seats will allow my students to have a relaxing place to sit and read their books.
