A few years ago I had a CD/cassette player that my students used during our reading time. This allowed them to follow along with books on CD and listen to a variety of readers reading books fluently. It was one of their favorite centers and unfortunately after it broke I haven't been able to replace it. My students would greatly benefit from having this station available to them again and would allow us to utilize the numerous books on CD I've had stored away. Please consider donating to the purchase of this listening center so my students this year will get to improve their reading skills by listening to the proper way to read the stories.
