I teach at a campus that houses a large majority of the special education students for my small district. I have multiple students in my classroom that have special needs including Intellectual Disability, Emotional Disturbance, and ADHD. My special needs students, as well as the average 1st grader can have difficulties in staying focused with other students in a small group setting. Having these Kore Patented WOBBLE Chairs and Brewster Wall Pops Peel & Stick Calypso Dry-Erase Dots for my guided reading table will greatly help in keeping my students that struggle focusing, focused on our guided reading lesson by being able to complete word work on the dry erase dots on the table and wiggle as they read. This will contribute to them becoming more successful and fluent readers. Having the ability to move and fidget, yet not distract their neighbors will make our small group time so much more successful for my students.
