In my third grade classroom, with the lowest income in the district, the students shall interact with literacy and mathematics content in a way that will fill the gap between technology and academics. By using iPads and the MacBook in the classroom students will be given a higher degree of freedom in their learning. By engaging in educational apps, reading programs, and many other features education is brought to the students to take control of their own learning and scoring higher on PARRC and ready test. This allows for more independence and a more effective education process for students. iPads and the MacBook Air plays a huge Role in preparing our students for college and eventually careers. As educators we must develop these necessary skills safely and responsible as soon as possible.
