Our school district maintains a program for swimming and diving with minimum funding for equipment. The school is a Title I school which qualifies for free lunch for all students. Given the economic state of the community the school does not allot for a sizeable budget for these girls. Many of the girls on the team cannot even afford the basics, a quality swimsuit, goggles or warm ups that many of the swimmers that they compete against can. It would be wonderful for these girls to experience the generosity of a donor gifting these girls with items that they themselves cannot afford.
