Flexible seating options will increase my students' ability to be productive in our learning environment. Before being ready to learn, our classroom must feel like a second home. Flexible seating allows students to learn about what they need in an environment to learn effectively. Lap desks will allow them to have ownership of where they learn best and work from a variety of places in the classroom. The stadium seats will allow students to have a comfortable, supportive work space anywhere in the room. The large area rug gives us a place to hold community circle and build relationships with each other. My students would love a soft rug to sit on and work on. When not being used for a whole group activity, the rug will be a great place for students to spread out and work on with lap desks. Pillows will make our classroom cozy and inviting!
