  • Lunar New Year in Color

    Funded Feb 25, 2024

Thank you so much for helping us get these ink toners to start our third quarter. Can you believe we are coming up to 115th day of school? These toners are helping the entire student body and staff. We really appreciate having these resources to print in color for our students to learn and practice. Thank you, again.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation! What a great way to start the new year! My students and I are looking forward to using these comfortable cushions when we read books about Lunar New Year. Thank you for launching our rocket and adding to our fireworks. Here’s to an amazing 2024!”

  • Before the Ink Is Dry

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project for ink toners for Chapman. Our teachers and staff are so grateful for your generous donation. Our students are so much more engaged when they receive resources in color. Images are much more clear when we are able to print in color and not just black and white.

Teachers have been able to print flashcards and worksheets for students to practice at home. The resources have really helped our upper grade students and students with intellectual disability prepare for our state testing these past two weeks.

Thank you again for funding our project. We really appreciate your help in making sure our students learn with engaging resources.”

  • Keeping My Money Safe

    Funded Aug 20, 2022

Thank you for the blue and yellow chair organizers for all our students. I love seeing the UCLA Bruin colors! My students and I are so happy to start using these hanging organizers for our students. It is really nice to be able to free up the top of their desks and provide more room to store their books.

My students are very excited about the different compartments. They love putting in their math manipulatives and taking them out when we need to use them. They are happy to have little nooks to keep things that they need during the school day.

We really appreciate your generous donation in making sure our students have what they need to be successful learners. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Flexing Our Learning

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you so much for these lap desks. The students are really enjoying having the flexibility of their own space. I love how there are storage compartments for us to store the materials we are learning for each lesson.

We have used our lap desks to explore math and STEAM activities. The students love having these desks to work on their assignments on the rug with me. They work great for small manipulatives like our coins and dollars. We were able to sort our coins while keeping our materials in one place. They are able to clean up and put their materials back in an orderly manner.

My students were so happy to see the desks. I leave them out on our rug so they can use them at any time, including silent reading time. I think it is important that students are able to move around in the classroom and these resources are doing just that. I am so grateful to be able to provide our students with the tools they need to be successful learners. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Taking Care of Business

    Funded Aug 13, 2022

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My students and I are so excited about these wonderful folders. I was able to pass out the folders to use for homework and classwork. We are so grateful for these sturdy folders. I am especially excited about the clear pockets in the front and back. My students will be able to have reference sheets to help them with writing and math.

I really appreciate your generous donation to help get my students folders that will last through the year, crossing my fingers. I know my students are really excited about the folders.

We really can't thank you enough for making sure our students have what they need to keep their papers and homework together. We are so happy to know that we have donors who are supporting all that we are do for our students.”

A flexible seating arrangement is key to accommodate the next generation of K-12 learning. My goal is to create a more free-flowing classroom environment that is student-centered and provides a more customized learning experience. I cannot have a community of learners without having a positive instructional climate. A flexible seating arrangement is a key to this new, modern learning environment. I want my students to feel comfortable by choosing their seats according to how and where they sit. This freedom of choice gives them the opportunity to learn responsibility and accountability. Students will also have the ability to move to collaborate with other students throughout the day for activities such as literature circles, group brainstorming, and small group lessons. Flexible seating is not just having a fun place for students to sit, but it's about utilizing students choice, creating buy-in, and heightening collaborative learning.
