New P.E equipment will directly benefit the physical health of all 947 students. Getting the recommended amount of exercise combats obesity, reduces the risk of diabetes, heart disease, asthma, sleep disorders and other illnesses. By participating in structured team activities like basketball and field hockey, children will develop healthy social interactions and develop a positive sense of identity as part of a team. Not to mention, improved physical health contributes to good mental health and has been proven to increase mental awareness, which is directly related to academic achievement. With your donation, you will make it possible for these students to increase their physical ability, reduce stress, and participate in sports that they may have never even knew existed. Together we can promote a positive fitness lifestyle that will hopefully follow these students into adulthood.
