My students love learning in ways that challenges their metacognition and engages them in cooperative learning activities. They are consistently engaged in math and science lessons that meet their unique learning styles, incorporate cooperative learning, and are tailored to their zone of proximal development. I would like to foster a classroom community that focuses on a growth mindset and being the best version of ourselves. It is important that my students also learn how to be peacemakers and practice mindfulness. My goal is to foster a love of life-long learning and the power of yet. I feel it is important to provide my students with strategies to help them think kind, positive thoughts.
